Hello Leonid,

After 2.3 hours (K7/600, 350 MB) Chest finds 3 key moves for a mate in 9:

PV: Qxg5+ Qfxg5 Rxf4+ Ng4 Rxg4+ Kh5 Qxh6+ Qxh6 Qde5+ Q3g5 R7xg5+ Qexg5 Rh4+ Qxh4
Qf7+ Qg6 Qxg6#
PV: Qexf4+ Q6xf4 Rxf4+ Ng4 Rxg4+ Kh5 Qxh6+ Qxh6 Qde5+ Q3g5 R7xg5+ Qexg5 Rh4+
Qxh4 Qf7+ Qg6 Qxg6#
PV: Qdxf4+ Qg3xf4 Qxg5+ Qfxg5 Qxh6+ Qxh6 Rxf4+ Qg4 Rfxg4+ Kh5 Q3e5+ Q7xe5 Rh4+
Qdxh4 Qf7+ Qg6 Qxg6#

All white moves in the above PVs are checking moves, so I suspect that your
selective search already found the mate in 9. A shorter one does not exist.

Most of the time the EBF was around 7.5, and in the last two depths climbed
to 9.5 and 12.5. Otherwise this one was much like most of your problems
(as far as Chest is concerned).

Cheers,
Heiner
