It is true that multiprocessor machines are allowed, this was a late
announcement made only a few weeks ago.  In previous years of course only 1 cpu
was allowed to be used by each chess program.

If Rebel/Tiger/Gandalf are boycotting, I certainly can't blame them.  It looks
to me like Chessbase has got the ICCA wrapped around its little finger.  Of
course Fritz will be running on some monster 8-way (or bigger) machine.
