I don't wanna comment the ChessBase thing, Peter - but in any case :
IF this amateur club ICCA changes rules - they'd better announce it in time -
best for the upfollowing championships.
If they declare a Micro championship - then it should be one.

They seem to me like folks who pretend to be grocers and only got some knowledge
'bout cattle.

On the other hand - for me - it wouldn't be sure at all, that FRITZ or whoever
would win, exeptionally because of running on a mainframe.
I saw them act personally in Paderborn 1999 - and the winner was the rather slow
machined....Shredder.

As I've written before, it's a cryin' shame to ALL the fellows who have prepared
hard and invested their time ( and bucks ) for an event, that won't take place
this way.
