I don't wanna comment the ChessBase thing, Peter - but in any case : IF this amateur club ICCA changes rules - they'd better announce it in time - best for the upfollowing championships. If they declare a Micro championship - then it should be one. They seem to me like folks who pretend to be grocers and only got some knowledge 'bout cattle. On the other hand - for me - it wouldn't be sure at all, that FRITZ or whoever would win, exeptionally because of running on a mainframe. I saw them act personally in Paderborn 1999 - and the winner was the rather slow machined....Shredder. As I've written before, it's a cryin' shame to ALL the fellows who have prepared hard and invested their time ( and bucks ) for an event, that won't take place this way. c/u ELVIS
