I didn't really want to go to this event, but for reasons that have nothing to do with single/multi- processor stuff, I decided to go. I made this decision after the hardware rules were posted, so I hadn't already spent the money on a system. Having applied and been accepted I went out and ordered a system and bought a non-refundable plane ticket. I had to order a system because it is extremely nasty to take my quad 450 on an airplane, and I will never do it again, and the only other sensible machine in the house is a P3/550. So I got something for this tournament that seemed sensible and was within my price range. Waiting until the last minute worked in my favor, but it's not like I was devious about it. There is a cost if they change the event back to single processor, and the cost will be paid by me, and I certainly don't deserve to suffer these damages. bruce
