The code in Hiarcs (and Rebel 8 also) must somehow interpret the 50 move rule as if the 50th move is made with no capture, then it is a draw. They must have left out the notion that the 50th move could be a mate. I tested this on Rebel 8 and instead of moving the bishop to e6 I forced the move Ba2. Rebel instead of playing mate played RxBa2, so it must misinterpret the 50 move draw like Hiarcs.
