Ingo still regularly provides reports in the ICCA Journal on
3-Hirn related ideas. In the latest issue he presented an 8 game
shuffle chess match by his List-3-Hirn against GM Yusupov (played
at 40 moves in 2 hours). For the record, List-3-Hirn won 5-3.
List-3-Hirn generalised the 3-Hirn concept by running the two
programs in k-best mode. Ingo also changed the programs during
each game, although only with two analyzing any single move.
During the match he used Hiarcs 5, Hiarcs 6, Fritz 4.01, Fritz 5,
Shredder 1.5 and Doctor 2.5 on a K6-233.
