You have to use a single commonly available microprocesor, and of course Alpha is included in that. 2) Open event. You can use anything, on-site or not. This one was assumed to be of the first type, but it's not, nor is it of the second type. We shouldn't be having an open event until next year, since they are supposed to be every third year. I don't know why you think that this isn't a huge deal.
