Yes, I agree completely.  He should just swallow the thousands of dollars he has
spent preparing for this trip, so that the ICCA could collapse [if, indeed, the
others do join in].  Since that would mean the death of amateur computer chess
it would be something of a blow to his main hobby.  But since principles are
involved, I think it's the only logical recourse.

Now, as to his ability as a moderator --
He keeps getting re-elected by accident.  He has no ability in this department
either.  Morally weak, ideologically weak, I pity the poor man.

What we need is some sort of intellectual and moral giant.  Unfortunately, Chris
Whittington is busy right now and can't be bothered.
