Hi all,
We should see this one single and interesting game in the light of being ONE
GAME. In checking the evaluation _and_ comment I do not think it looks that bad
as many "fear" now. Compared with the much less attractive chess style of Deep
Shredder 5, when it resulted in a draw (!) it was a fine game. I did not choose
an extremely selected opening tree but a large one (ChessBase Powerbooks 2001).

Here some more information:
{Game 192 (tartaruga vs. Dreev) tartaruga resigns} 0-1
White resigns
Standard rating adjustment: 2568 --> 2567 (it was Dreev's 5th Standard game; see
"help provisional")
say thank you, Alexej
(told Dreev, who is playing)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Ufff.... Thank you, Martin!
say but it was not always that clear. up to move 50 approx. it seemed to be draw
(told Dreev, who is playing)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Happened, that I played black more lucky!
tell dreev how about the style of Deep Fritz?
(told Dreev, who is playing)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Defence with transformation to attack
say but what would you say regarding your opponent? how about the phases in this
match?
(told Dreev, who is playing)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Yes, the position was equal, balanced
Dreev(GM) tells you: Will you be here? I want to drink a cup of water. It was
warm! :-)
say ok (:-)
(told Dreev, who is playing)
say ok (:-)
(told Dreev, who is playing)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Hard game....
say yes, and good game!!
(told Dreev, who is playing)
Dreev(GM) tells you: In opening DF played very active and aggressive...
say I also had that feeling, but a some point you restructured and obtained the
better position
(told Dreev, who is playing)
Dreev(GM) tells you: so... early f4 in combination with Qf3 means, that he
intended to attack
Dreev(GM) tells you: DF underestimated positional danger in White's disposal
Dreev(GM) tells you: Difficult to make the evaluation immediately after the game
tell dreev always as far as DF really UNDERSTANDS and not computes
(told Dreev)
Dreev(GM) tells you: I afraid that DF will play Re6 on my Ng6
Dreev(GM) tells you: I think that I would be stay a bit more pleasant after Re6
too, but it would be very good practical chance
tell dreev until when did you think it was a draw?
(told Dreev)
Dreev(GM) tells you: While not playing Re6 DF standed himself to the border of
losing
Dreev(GM) tells you: Was close to equal position, not to draw
Dreev(GM) tells you: But the playing was really complicated
Dreev(GM) tells you: But in reality worse for White... DF did not make correct
positional evaluation, I guess
tell dreev here we reach the point where you understand that much better than me
(:-))
(told Dreev)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Not to much better :-)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Thank you for giving me possibility to test myself playing
against strong PC!
Dreev(GM) tells you: And for giving chance to observers to see interesting game!
:-)
tell dreev it was a great pleasure for everyone
(told Dreev)
Dreev(GM) tells you: Yes, I hope! :-)
tell dreev I am sure (:-)
(told Dreev)

Martin
