I don't really do anything in the way of moderation unless someone sends a
complaint. If nobody complains, then I figure it does not bother anyone.

On the other hand, once in a while I read something myself that looks
outrageous. Even at that, I usually won't remove it but instead, I use the
moderator form myself as a "reminder." On very rare instances, I will go ahead
and delete something just because it is so disgusting that it requires immediate
action.

Most of the time, there is nothing to it. Once in a while, you will waste 4
hours or more in one day on it. Fortunately, those situations are very rare.

Trouble spots work like this:
1 or 2 trouble makers appear. Often, they wise up and stop acting like whinging
twits. When they don't, at some point we simply remove them. Then it's quiet
again for a while.

The worst ones (in my opinion) are the ones that occasionally cause trouble but
don't really do anything bad enough to get banned. That's because I'm lazy and
I would rather not have to do anything. But if we got rid of everyone like that
we would certainly have to get rid of me. So maybe it's just as well that we
don't (unless you're in the "Wish Dann would get the heck out of here!" camp.)
