It could be argued that the single-processor contest is an included subset of
the whole contest ... rather than a disjoint contest.

If the best (amateur / professional) single-processor beats the
multi-processors, then maybe it takes the multi-title(s) as well.

This would make the choice of Swiss-pairings easier to do on the day.
