"Tournament" time controls are pretty much the "holy grail" of computer chess, and, IMHO, the ultimate test of an engine's strength. But, that's just me.... Either way, I felt that, since I had a PIII-600 just laying around (it's usually the machine on which I create "release builds"), I could use it for this long tournament. Yes, it's probably going to take about 2 1/2 weeks to complete, but that doesn't matter to me. At least it hasn't crashed or hung yet (knock on silicon). jm
