Subject: Isn't there any search engines of this forum? [and, which cpu?]

I was intending to look back at various information and opinions about certain
interests which were posted here recently, (and, less recently) but now I find
no easy way to get to them.
  Is  there no search engine so that I can enter keywords such as palm etc.
 I need such a thing as I don't always have time to look into things exactly
when they are written but intend to come back to them later.

Urgent now is, that I would like to know what is now the best cpu for most chess
playing programs.

I've seen here mention of AMD 1850 ghz. being available, but my local dealer,
here in Israel claimed 2-3 days ago that the latest he knows about is 1400ghz.
  He also claims that some things are quicker with Intel than AMD, without
dismissing AMD as being better overall. Only, that Intel is much more popular in
Israel, for some reason, and he is one of the very few who deal in AMD too.
 But he claims that AMD equipment and upgrades don't take any longer than one
week to arrive in Israel once they are introduced on the market.
