I don't have Windows ME but it does sound like a conflict or software corruption. You may need to re-install your CD-ROM Drivers. Run your System File Checker, to check your file integrity, under Programs, Accessories, System Tools. As for a virus it is unlikely you have recieved one from CCC. Do you use anti-virus software to scan your machine just in case you might have recieved a virus, via e-mail or surfing the net etc.? Also do you have a PC-Doctor Program for Windows to run a diagnostic? If you don't have virus protection, I would recommend Norton's. Norton's System Works is a very good program and has diagnostic tools and can affect repairs. It also has IMHO the best Anti-Virus Software to protect your computer. But most likely it's a software problem plain and simple, conflict or corruption. Try going into Settings, Control Panel, System or Double Click on My Computer and Click on Device Manager, to check for Conflicts. Do this FIRST! Then if you don't find the problem there do use you System Tools to check for corrupt files. If by chance you do have a virus the sites below can help! The first is Symantec's Homepage, you may be interested in purchasing software from them. https://www-secure.symantec.com/ If you do have a virus, this second link should help you out. http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/ I hope this helps a little. I'm afraid I'm no Techno Wizard!;) Terry
