I find Chess Tiger Palm prefers 1. e4, but it definitely plays 1. d4 on occasion. I just tried 10 games on Chess Tiger on the Palm. Chess Tiger opened with 1. d4 3 times, and with 1. e4 7 times. Settings used: Level - Game in 5 min Engine: Normal Anti-Human mode: off Use Opening Book: yes Richard A.
