It came on the computer.  The company installed it.  If I ever bought another
computer that had ME on it, the first thing I'd do is format the harddrive and
install Windows98 SE.  There's no way I'd mess with that ME again.

My father just bought himself a laptop by Dell that has ME on it, and I tried to
put Wordstar on it for him, but WS won't work on ME.  So I told setver to tell
WS that the OS was Dos 6.22, but config sys isn't used anymore, so I can't
figure out how to load setver (even though setver.exe is on the computer!).  So
it's going to be a trick getting him to learn to use Word instead because he's
been using Wordstar since before IBM PCs had harddrives.  He'll do just fine
with ME if we can get him to learn Word, that'll be a trick.
