I recently got a copy of Visual C++ and just tried to compile my chess program (G2K) and got: G2K.exe - 2104 error(s), 68 warning(s) All I can say is... ouch. :) Cygwin compiles it without a peep. Of course, it is the same few "errors" in the header files being seen over and over again, but still... -paul
