Please do not accept these kinds of reports to be FACTUAL and ABSOLUTE reports about Windows XP. I have been testing XP for about 5 months now, and I am extremely happy with its 1) performance 2) stability 3) new features. Windows XP is just as stable as Win2K, has new added features and even kernel enhancements in some areas (such as memory management), which could benefit chess programs. Pete, I am not sure what kind of experience you had with XP or what you tried to delete. All I know is that I have not seen any problems triple booting between Win98, Win2k and XP. I definitely disagree that XP is more than a virus than an OS, and especially if you are using Windows 9x right now, you should see DRAMATIC improvement in performance and stability. I usually do not like to get invoved in somewhat off-topic issues like these, but this struck me as a gross representation of XP as a viable OS. Artem
