Have you seen improvement in the NPS for crafty? We (@ work) use a lot of memory manipulation for RF signal generation and there seems to be no speed improvement. However a normal (average) signal is 500M-Samples (2GB) in size ... chess programs normally don't deal with such large chunks of memory. regards. hristo p.s.
