I own a VP6 motherboard and haven't experienced any problems at all.

No, it's quite manageable. Of course there's the odd wire bending and board
wiggling. But nothing too problematic.

ISA cards are obsolete and the current standard is PCI AFAIK. You get an extra
PCI slot instead of the ISA, so it's an advantage.
