Subject: Help! I'm confused about choosing Win2000 or WinXP for top chess program

After I read many articles about Windows 2000 and Windows XP from PC Magazine
and from the Internet, I got confused about deciding whether to buy Windows 2000
now or wait for Windows XP. Besides, what bothers me is that Windows 2000 does
not support many newer devices and drivers while Windows XP contains an
unpleasant "activation" feature. That is my dilemma. Since I am not familiar
with Windows 2000 and Windows XP, I am afraid that I could buy a wrong operating
system. I do not want to be disappointed if I make a mistake. Please help me
how to make wise decisions about choosing the right operating system.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Eran

P.S. I am afraid that when million end users anywhere will have Windows XP with
"activation" feature on their PC, Microsoft could become more powerful. So
please do not let Microsoft monopolize us. Fight against monopoly!
