I have made my own opening book in CTG format for Shredder , Fritz , ChessBase
and probably several other ChessBase programs will be able to run it .
At least the Winboard engines in the ChessBase Gui will .
It contains all games of Dr.Hyatt's Enormous Crafty book and all your A00 games
with the difference that it is in CTG format.
We have no CD burner and it's not likely we will have one in this life my dad
said.
Suppose something happens to our harddisk and it will be necessary to reformat
it , all files will be gone and my book and my work too.
Storing the book on several 3.5 floppies would be an endless task.
I read in this forum one can store chess stuff online in your upload folder.
The book is huge but it's spanned into Ace files of 5 Mb each.
Which FTP software is fastest to upload it ? Which port number must be filled in
?
