Sometimes the case glitches, and the program starts asking repeatedly. I have had that as well. The accounts vary. Some can solve the problem, so it seems, some can't. At this moment my copies of the Fritz & friend family don't ask for CD's anymore after the initial startup. The solution as presented here http://www.chessbaseusa.com/T-NOTES/012101.htm did the trick for me. Also be sure that the program isn't looking for *information* on the hard disk, like opening book, game database, table bases or voice comments. Use only the in-program command to copy the opening book to your HD, use the windows explorer to copy the game database and endgame tablebases to HD (don't forget to edit the c:\windows\chssbase.ini file for the correct location of your TB) and disable voice comment if you don't want the CD to reside in your tray permanently. Again, after the above linked trick the program asked no CD anymore for the last few centuries. Good luck. J.
