Go up one level in this thread

I think we will have to agree to disagree on these points. I do not think MS
should be split in two for simply creating a better product than everyone else.
I don't want to continue this thread though because we are already way off topic
and have the potential to go on and on.

I can understand your point about one copy at home/work. It's hard to pay money
twice for any product. Personally I think the EULA should say that sharing a
copy between home and work is ok. But I am not an accountant or executive.

But is an extra $150 so much to pay for a product that is implicitly stable,
easy to use, and offers compelling performance? Something that has taken
hundreds of people years to develop and debug. Something with hundreds of
millions of lines of code and something that cost billions of dollars to create.
Have you used NT before? If you have not I think you are in for a huge
surprise when you move away from that consumer windows kernel. Do you know how
much MS is selling Win2k pro for? XP home edition is a world class kernel at a
great price. Anyway, enough about this. I hope you find a way to beat WPA and
use the same copy at home and work if you want to.
