MS business side (the folks that write the policies for PC manufacturers) wrote an illegal snip in an agreement. Did Bill Gates know about it? More than likely. Perhaps not. Who knows!?! Someone knew they were doing something wrong, and MS will pay for it. One way or another. There is NOT a business in America, that doesn't wish they were in MS's position right now, even WITH all their legal troubles. They are a MODEL American insititution, and Bill Gates is an American hero. Perhaps a couple people, even Bill Gates, made a few bad descions. Oh well. They aren't going anywhere. Most of us will continue to use their software, in one way or another. And the world keeps turning........... Slate
