Deep Blue was built around chess processors. From what I have read recently, Hsu
has bought the rights to the chess chip from IBM, but he apparently doesn't have
plans to exploit them commercially. To be honest, I reckon a chess coprocessor
daughterboard would be fantastic, but given the stellar performance of chess
engines on standard, cheap hardware, the likely market is extremely small.

Have a look at http://www.chesscenter.com/twic/feng.html, and open letter from
Hsu in which he talks about his plans around the chess chip.
