Sorry, you are right. :)

Look at the current poll and see how only 28% of us actually play chess
with these programs. And most of us are not programmers. So, what do we
do: check programs, study them, autoplay, run tests, spend small
fortunes in equipment, beta test, email other chess freaks, play from
positions, take a look at ccc and rgcc, post, get mad... Peaceful
madness, no? and quite fun.
