USCF != ICC. they are unrelated, completely. We were talking about comparing US Chess Federation ratings to FIDE ratings. The easiest thing to do is to pick players rated in both pools. Ken Sloan did this last year and posted the result on r.g.c.c... and found that USCF=FIDE+50, roughly... that is, USCF ratings are about 50 points higher than FIDE... a little more in some categories, a little less in others. But forget that 2200 -> 1800 stuff... that's nonsense in this context...
