A GNU C compiled chess program 'k2.exe' with the required input/output style for winboard fails to run under winboard on Windows 95 because it seemingly is compiled with GNU C. I think you mentioned using a different compiler Microsoft Visual C++ or GNU C++ makes the runnable win under Winboard, true? If so, what are the version number(s) of the compiler(s) you use. I am willing to change to a different compiler from GNU C. --Stuart
