Hi, at the moment is round 9/9 from AP-16 still running. The results so far: 01. SOS 03/00 6.5/8 02. Gandalf 4.32g 6.0/8 03. Deep Fritz T29c 5.5/8 04. Hiarcs 7.32 5.0/8 05. Nimzo 8 4.5/8 06. Goliath Light 1.2 4.0/8 14.75 07. Yace 0.99.50 4.0/8 13.25 08. Gromit 3.8.2 4.0/8 12.25 09. Junior 7 4.0/8 12.00 10. Ikarus 0.18 3.5/8 11. Deep Patzer 3.61 3.0/8 11.00 12. Crafty 18.10 3.0/8 10.00 13. Comet B.35 3.0/8 9.50 14. Shredder 5.32 3.0/8 8.75 15. AnMon 5.10 2.5/8 9.75 16. Chess Tiger 14.0 2.5/8 8.50 On place 1 an amateur program, on the last place Chess Tiger 14.0. Chess Tiger is with over 2.700 ELO in the AP rating list after 15 tourneys on place 2 !! Every program can win the WM, but the best programs have more possibilities. Chess Tiger 14.0 won 4 AP tourneys, Deep Fritz T29c won 4 tounreys. The chance that Chess Tiger 14.0 or Deep Fritz T29c won the WM is maybe 50% !! But it is clear that Gandalf and Shredder have better chances with longer time controls. We will see ... Hope that an Amateur program win the World Championchip. At the moment is Gromit 3.82 - SOS 03/00 running Gromit = -3.41 SOS = +3.07 Nice, SOS win the first AP tourney!!
