Many web sites are now only viewable with Microsoft's IE. We tried to grab my son's grades last term, and since we use netscape on our windows box and I use netscape on my linux box, we thought their web site was down when we just got blank pages. On a whim, I had my wife try IE and voila' we had a web site we could view. No IE for Linux of course, which means there are web sites I can't visit. Bad news, but reality is often harsh.
