You are getting your time controls mixed up. The original version of the CM GUI
had problems with the moves/minutes and seconds per move time controls only, and
these problems were strictly with the GUI. The King engine played those time
controls just fine, assuming they received the proper "level" command from the
GUI. That was what the first patch fixed. Fischer time controls were never a
problem in the CM GUI.
