Subject: Some mate problems from my last correspondence game

Author: Uri Blass

Date: 09:13:04 08/15/01

The problems are
Mate in 10,mate in 11,mate in 12,mate in 13,mate in 17,mate in 18

I post the relevant positions(the first is the mate in 10 and the last is the
mate in 18):

The last 2 mates were too hard for chessmaster to see in a reasonable time and
I proved them by a tree when I believe that chessmaster's evaluations at the
leaves of the tree are corrrect.

I told my opponent that it is a forced mate only after he blundered by 28.Qxe3
and if Rxe3 then 29.Rxh3(it is a typical computer error at short time control
and the best move in order to lose more slowly was 28.Ke1)

I gave him the condition 29...Qg4 and if 30.Rh8+ Kd7 and if 31.Rh7+ Kc6 and it
convinced him to resign.
