Here is a possible solution. Cut down on the MB of RAM that you are allocating. See if that helps at all in preventing freezes. So far I have inconclusive results that cutting down from 40MB to 32 MB on a WIN98SE system with 64MB or RAM may work. Let me know your results, please.
