I can't reply again because I'm about to get on an airplane, but a little bit of basic discussion on operating systems might be useful. What if there is someone out there who is thinking about buying a dual? The information about which OS's support SMP is useful. As long as the discussion stayes pointed, and people don't start talking about MSIE vs Navigator or something like that, no problem. It didn't get too far out of hand, and the thread is dying out. bruce
