He did the same thing last year at the WMCCC in London. In his spare time, he did come over and hang out at the WMCCC - though I didn't get much opportunity to speak to him personally. Various other programmers who no longer try to keep taking the top place on the SSDF also turned up - most notably Richard Lang - the programmer of Genius.
