Some steppings are only available at certain speeds. These results are based on finite data and can not possibly be 100% accurate. The chart is simply meant as a guide Code Average Overclock ( average has been rounded to nearest 25 Mhz increment) 750 850 1000 1100 1133 1200 1333 AXIAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX NA NA 1450 1450 1400 1425 1525 AXIAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX NA NA 1400 1400 1375 NA NA AXHAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX NA NA 1325 1350 NA 1400 NA AXHAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX NA NA 1225 1300 NA 1375 NA BXHAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX NA NA 1325 1350 NA 1400 NA BXHAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX NA NA 1200 1250 NA 1375 NA AVIAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX NA NA 1450 1450 1425 1425 NA AVIAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX NA NA 1400 1400 1375 NA NA AVFAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX NA NA 1250 NA NA 1400 NA AVFAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX NA NA 1225 NA NA 1375 NA BVFAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX NA NA NA 1350 NA 1400 NA BVFAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX NA NA 1225 NA NA 1375 NA BVFAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX NA NA NA 1350 NA 1400 NA AHEAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX 1100 NA 1175 NA NA NA NA AHEAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX 1125 NA 1200 NA NA NA NA AEEAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX 1075 NA NA NA NA NA NA AEEAXXXXXX YXXXXXXX 1100 NA NA NA NA NA NA ADFAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX 950 1000 NA NA NA NA NA AGGAXXXXXX #XXXXXXX NA 1050 NA NA NA NA NA ARGAXXXX 9XXXXXXX NA NA 1300 NA NA NA NA AXIARXXXXXXXX YXXXXXXXXXXXX NA NA 1550 NA NA NA NA AYHJAXXXXXXX YXXXXXXXXXXX NA NA NA NA NA NA 1660 AMD Thunderbird Code Conclusions The results seem to show a pattern of favoring CPU's with a letter in the 3rd line of text on each chip instead of a number. Still, the newer steppings ( AXIA, AVIA ) seem to be doing better than the rest, also the1000mhz chips seem to be doing as well as and better in some cases that higher Mhz chips with the same code. UPDATED: The last three lines have new stepping codes that have been discovered. They are marked blue in the chart. As you can see the two most interesting ones are the AXIAR and the AYHJA, reaching speeds of 1550 and 1660 on average respectively. Christian
