Hi,

Some impression from the games in round 3:

Tiger - Ferret
--------------
Slow manoeuvering game, in which Tiger has worked
out a clear advantage. Current score +2,5 with Tiger
a pawn up. Still, it is difficult to crack Black's
position. It is passive but solid.

Shredder - Quest 0:1
----------------
Shredder made the 'blunder'to play the Najdorf Sicilian
with Bg5? IMO this is a very bad choice! Quest won a
nice game. First loss of Shredder..... since when!?

Gandalf - Tao 1:0
-------------
Nice game by Gandalf, that came up with a nice attack.
At one point Tao saw it was in trouble and thought for
50 minutes (!!) over 1 move. Phew, what a desaster when
you are an operator! If the game is posted here, look
at White's move Bc8! Tao didn't see it coming and it was
winning with some deep tactics.

Rebel - Diep
------------
Still running. Diep gave a knight for 3 pawns, but currently
this looks insufficient. Rebel says +0,90.

Crafty - Junior
---------------
Crafty a pawn up, but Black has the better position and
chances for an attack. Junior says +0,30, Crafty believes
it is slightly better. I bet this game can go either way,
but I like Black's attacking possiblities.

Ciao, Jeroen
