From my experience, it's one of those "love it or hate it" things. People who learned on Borland, generally hate the MS IDE (but not always). The latest incarnation of Borland is confusing to me (but only because I use the MS IDE on a daily basis now.) When I first stared using the MS IDE, I did not like it because I was more used to other environments.
