They're copying the pgn files stored by the players (which is why some of the games have scores/depth etc in them). Same happened in Leiden earlier this year which caused some of 31337/celes's games not to be displayed the day they were played (we had to send them by email since we didn't have diskdrive and the opponent only had his native savegames).
