No surprise. Near the end Phalanx likes Bxd4 instead of Bf4. The mate is
probably not far off in any event. I'll take your word that's it in 19:)

As far as the French goes generally (Winawer included), I agree that it's a poor
defense for most engines. The pawn formation is too threatening against the
k-side, the e-pawn is cramping, taking f6 away from the knight. Bxh7 tricks are
frequent as well as pawn storms making for quick wins. Queen-side castling is
usually the answer for Black ...
