How about yet another new rating organization for chess programs. perhaps ICD could independently test the chess software programs on equal platforms, or oversee such test. Perhaps a respected list could be formed by computer users who were testing programs on their own hardware. Could a special price on the Auto 232 software be offered, for program users willing to take part in such an experiment? Posters could send in their results for tabulation on a regular basis. I could see a respected list developing out of the dedicated work of many individual's from around the world this way. (Other then the SSDF). mrslug - the inkompetent chess software addict!
