If Ruy-López thought that he had more time because the operator was too slow in entering the moves, or because he forgot to press the clock for a long time, it is legal to update the internal clock. By the way, I am Ruy-López's programmer and I still have no idea of what happened because the operator is not sending any mails. Álvaro.
