Hi Uri, games with longer time controls are for sure better for statistics. If I play the 20 AP tourneys with 40 in 120, the tournament is 3 years still running. 40 in 10 on a dual system is a good time control. Every game 30 minutes and for this experiment is this enough. Only a hand full programs which I know have in all my computer chess games little different in the performance with different time controls. I mean only the statistics. The material with longer time controls is clearly better and more interesting. But which person have the time to play interesting tournaments with 40 in 120. It was only a little experiment ... just for fun for me ... and I have a lot of fun. Here blitz games are better for looking, I mean I have not the time to look live in a game with the time control 40 in 120 hours. I hope that the results and statistics are interesting for every one. I make me here a lot of work in the last 2 months with this little experiment and I know that user have fun on this page. Best Frank
