These 2 draws are both with white, as was the draw against Parsos. In the speedchess, the draw against Diep and the won position against Junior were also with white. Last year at the dutch open I didn't loose any game with white. Coincidence ? I have to restart with my opening book. I think I should take special care to put in active lines for black. cheers, Tony > >[Event "Open Dutch CC 2000"] >[Site "Leiden NED"] >[Date "2000.10.14"] >[Round "3"] >[White "XiniX"] >[Black "ChessMaster"] >[Result "1/2-1/2"] >[ECO "C41b"] >[Opening "Philidor's defence"] >[Variation "Nimzovich variation"] > >1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 d6 3.Bc4 Nf6 4.Ng5 d5 5.exd5 h6 6.Nf3 e4 7.Qe2 Bb4 8.a3 O-O >9.axb4 exf3 10.Qxf3 Re8+ 11.Kf1 Nbd7 12.Bb3 Nb6 13.Nc3 Bg4 14.Qg3 Qe7 15. >f3 Nbxd5 16.Qf2 Be6 17.Bxd5 Nxd5 18.Nxd5 Bxd5 19.b5 Bc4+ 20.d3 Bxb5 21.Bd2 >c5 22.g3 Bc6 23.Kg2 Qe2 24.Rhe1 Bxf3+ 25.Kg1 Qxf2+ 26.Kxf2 Rxe1 27.Bxe1 >Bc6 28.b4 cxb4 29.Bxb4 b6 30.c4 a5 31.Bc3 a4 32.Rb1 Rb8 33.d4 Be4 34.Rb4 >a3 35.Ke3 Bg2 36.Ba1 Kf8 37.Rb3 b5 38.Rxb5 Rxb5 39.cxb5 Ke7 40.Kd2 Kd7 41. >Kc3 a2 42.Kb3 Bd5+ 43.Kb4 Kd6 44.h4 g5 45.hxg5 hxg5 46.Bc3 f5 47.Ka3 f4 >48.gxf4 gxf4 49.Kb2 Kc7 50.Ba5+ Kb7 51.Bd2 f3 52.Be1 Kb6 53.Ka1 Kxb5 >1/2-1/2 > >[Event "Dutch-ch"] >[Site "Leiden NED"] >[Date "2000.10.15"] >[Round "5"] >[White "XiniX"] >[Black "Diep"] >[Result "1/2-1/2"] >[ECO "C42r"] >[Opening "Petrov"] >[Variation "classical attack, Marshall variation"] > >1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.Nxe5 d6 4.Nf3 Nxe4 5.d4 d5 6.Bd3 Bd6 7.O-O O-O 8.c4 c6 >9.Nc3 Nxc3 10.bxc3 Bg4 11.cxd5 cxd5 12.Rb1 Nd7 13.h3 Bh5 14.Rxb7 Nb6 15. >Ba6 Qe8 16.g4 Bg6 17.Qb3 Qc6 18.Ne5 Bxe5 19.dxe5 Na4 20.Rb4 Qxa6 21.Rxa4 >Qe2 22.Ba3 Rfd8 23.Rd4 Qxe5 24.Rfd1 Be4 25.c4 Rdc8 26.Qe3 Rxc4 27.Rxc4 >dxc4 28.Bb2 Qxb2 29.Qxe4 Rc8 30.Qxc4 Qb8 31.Qd4 g6 32.Kg2 Qb7+ 33.Kg3 Qe7 >34.Rd3 Re8 35.a3 1/2-1/2 > > >>* Deep Fritz won 3 of its first 4 games, but only won 1 of its last 5 (the >>others being draws in the latter portion). >> >>* Pharaon and SpiderGirl scored a single win apiece, both against XiNiX. > >Well, this all goes to show, you have to actually play the games to find out >what is going to happen.
