Why played Tiger against Parsos first 20. Bb3+? and then 21. Bd5 ....? Here first the game: [Event "18th WMCC 6th Olympiad Maastricht "] [Site "?"] [Date "2001.??.??"] [Round "9"] [White "Chess Tiger 14.6, AMD 1.4"] [Black "Parsos, 2x Intel 1.0"] [ECO "C96"] [Result "0-1"] 1. e4 e5 2. Bd6 Rxb4 0-1 On my P 600 Gambit Tiger 2.0 plays 20. Bb3+ (about after 8 minutes on P600) and 21. Bd5 too, see my analysis with 96 Mb hash: Chess Tiger - Parsos [D]r4r1k/1bp1b1pp/p2n2q1/1p3p2/PP2P3/1BPP3P/3Q2P1/RNB1R1K1 w - - 0 1 Analysis by Gambit Tiger 2.0: 21.e5 Nf7 22.Bxf7 Qxf7 23.d4 a5 24.bxa5 Rxa5 25.Qb2 Qg6 26.c4 Bh4 27.Rf1 Qg3 28.cxb5 ² (0.46) deph: 12 00:00:57 8750kN 21.e5 Bh4 22.Rf1 f4 23.exd6 f3 24.Rf2 Bxf2+ 25.Qxf2 fxg2 26.Bf4 Qxd3 27.Kh2 Qxd6 28.Bxd6 Rxf2 = (-0.22) deph: 13 00:02:29 22975kN 21.Bd5 Bh4 22.Bxb7 Bxe1 23.Qxe1 Nxb7 24.e5 f4 25.d4 f3 26.Qf2 bxa4 27.Be3 Qe4 28.Nd2 µ (-0.80) deph: 14 00:12:56 131697kN You can see that the "score" from Tiger is in deep 13 only -0.22 (for move e5), and in deep 14--> - 0.80 (for move Bd5). Why played Tiger then here not 21. e5?
