You're forgetting hard statistics.

I'm playing for the win each game.

Yes with 1.h3 i scored one day a draw in a testgame against Shredder5,
but that's complete NONSENSE to play in a game.

You don't prepare to at most get a draw.

Take my line against Ferret.

After 1.e4,c5 2.nc3 i was out of book.

Now do your experiment with white being ferret and black a program
of your choice. I'm sure Bruce LOVES to run up ferret for a few
games at the ICC.

Don't forget to turn of book!

Yes my book was small, some lines were not bad,
see how well my position was against shredder. It played itself
into a real good position!

Fritz would NEVER have managed that from that position!

It doesn't even know a bishop is stronger than a knight.
