wildest game it seems was round 6, junior vs shredder.
what made this the wildest game?
the two world champions were playing each other.
this game had the wildest swings in eval.
this game had the biggest drop in score.
the losing program was operated by the past world champion.
this past world champion resigned in a position with two queens
on the board, while his opponent had one.
the past world champion played on when his score had dropped over
eight points.
this game had the most misunderstood position by one of the top programs.
move 60. shredder said it was up about 5.5. shredder had its score up
5 points for several moves up to this point.

i cannot imagine how stefan felt watching this game. shredders score
quickly went up 5 points, and maintained a five point advantage for quite
some time. stefan had to feel very confident. somewhere about move 60
stefan probably witnessed his score drop tremendously. there must have
been a lot of surprised chess enthusiasts in the game room.
