As you can read on www.aceshardware.com for diep the speed is way more pessimistic for the P4 than the above things. Where did you get a 1.55Ghz Palomino by the way? for the world champs i only could get 1 day before the tournament a 1.2Ghz Palomino! Speed reads about this: dual 1.7Ghz P4-Xeon ==> 106k nps dual 1.2Ghz Palomino ==> 120k nps That's 15% faster speed for the palomino despite half a Ghz difference in clock. > >kburcham
