Subject: Big trouble with Rebel CD.

Now I fear  I may have shortened the Rebel CD I bought.

Recently I soaked the CD with water in effort to clean it.    I was never told
or never believed that water could actually harm the CD.     Now I am unable to
install Rebel Tiger II and Installing Rebel Century 3 took about 30 minutes.

If a new CD is needed,    Is there any possible way I could get one without
purchasing one?   Or do I need to buy a new CD or struggle with the one I have?

Is there a way to fix the CD and Does Chessbase 8.0 cause any problem with the
Rebel CD?
